Yeah, yeah, yeah, the month is half over…  Pfft, whatever.  May’s Fancy Craft is centered in digital photography.  And why might that be?  Because I spent my tax refund on this.  ‘Tis in the mail as my fingers titter across the keyboard (!!!!).  In honor of this most exciting time I’d like to share a method of rigging your digital SLR into a pinhole camera.  Ghasp!  Yes, its true and the instructions are located here.

While we’re on the subject of pinhole cameras the above photo is a six month exposure.  The parabolic arches are the sun moving across the sky from the winter to summer solstices.  Me = Amazed.  You can read all about it here.

As Always, eat your heart out,

Tiny terrariums made inside of old light bulbs.  Why didn’t I think of that?  Probably because in not Julie, creator of Tiny Terra.  The best part?  She gives step by step instructions on how to make your own!  Intellectual property?  Psssssshhhhh.  You can also buy her terrariums on etsy.

Also, White Rabbit.

I just found this remarkably amazing and dare I say, fancy blog.  Cathe Holden is a one woman font of inspiration including references and downloads for her projects.  She perforated her own stamps using a sewing machine.  Genius!   I’m jealous of her creativity and also grateful for her generosity.
