For those of you who remain blissfully unaware of a little thing called GILT, it is now being inflicted upon you whether you like it or not.  This afternoon I caved under the incredible pressure of these:

Lovely, no?  And, since I’m just sitting around here at work I made a polyvore set of just one way I’d don these waterproof wonders.  Behold:

Butter Boots

Probably one of the best outfits I’ve EVAR conceived.  Did I need these boots?  Probably not.  But fall is fast approaching and these puppies are just what a Kansas Citian needs for the cool, rainy days ahead.

Now you can’t wait to start your own GILT account, can you?  Well click here for an invite, you can thank/curse me later.

Eat your heart out,

I’m not talking about Rumspringa (though it is a pretty inspiring concept).  Fashion Haus Bec & Bridge produced some designs worthy of your scrutinization.  Some of it I’m not so crazy about (slouchy plaid pants, uggh), but those crazy layered ruffled socks?  Yes, please.

Eat your heart out,

I’m super bored with my do.  Some thoughts.  I’m thinking it’s time for a badass color.  Thoughts?

I know every Tom, Dick and Harry is putting in their two cents about the whole Tim-Burton-Alice-In-Wonderland thing, and I’ve heard pretty mixed reviews so I’ll probably wait to Netflix that hot mess…  BUT…  As a haberdasher I have a special interest in the top hat craze that may or may not explode all over me.  Here’s some Alice in Wonderland themed things that tickled my fancy:

Shoot Alice!  OR…  Simply, Off With Her Head.

Bitchin’ photoshoot by Ramadaq.  Model Hollie Swain is really quite talented and quite the glamor puss in those hats (not to mention looking like a stone cold fox with chairs in her hair).  Makeup, hair, styling… so choice.  You can see the full set here.

Paint The Roese Red… Or Was It White?

This gorgeous Wonderland inspired hat drives me wild with lust.  You can buy it on etsy from designer, Zaracarpenter, and take a gander at her other equally quirky and super fancy millinery designs.  LUST.

Tea Party at the Haberdashery

I think come Halloween this October my hattery can expect a run on these.  Thoughts?
