Only for beer will people come out by the hundreds to drink in the rain when it’s 55 degrees outside. And for most drinkers, once you’d knocked a few back at the 7th Annual Parkville Microrewery Festival, you didn’t mind the rain much anyway. Despite the mud and cold and a cramping umbrella arm, I do believe I had a pretty good time. I find these photos are especially fun to view while sipping a hot beverage.

Blind Tiger’s Maibock tickled my taste buds the most. Talk about yummy, mellow and award winning. I have a reason to go to Topeka, Kansas now.

My sweet little laptop fell ill with a case of a junked wireless card. What’s a girl to do about such things? She is to order a new one off ebay to install herself using this tutorial. Hopefully I’ll remember to back up all my files before embarking upon this little adventure.
If my little experiment in laptop surgery should be a failure, you’ll know by my silence. Until I scrape together enough dough to get a new one, that is.

I’ve been drawing 100% more the past week and although I’m really rusty and my little graphite creations are rudimentary at best, I feel more productive already. Once I feel I’ve made something worthy of your consideration I’ll put it up.
Also, if you have an idea for a cool image lemme know. I could use some fresh brain food.

This Saturday I’ll be watching young, attractive women on roller skates smash violently into each other while speeding around a flat track at the Kansas City Roller Derby. It always promises to be a good time not to mention a fairly cheap way to spend a Saturday with friends.
I have a deep desire to be a roller warrior, but I don’t like pain. It’s a conundrum.
